The Challenge:

Our client has a research facility in Hampshire and needs reliable air conditioning units to feed the various configurations of office space. Supplied by 2 outside air conditioning chillers, they asked us to tender for replacing one broken chiller with a new unit. A chiller that would reliably maintain a constant, comfortable year-round office temperature.

We started by understanding what air conditioning units were in the system, so we had a full picture of the draw requirements on the chiller.

Maintenance Going Forward

Part of the FORTH® contract is for our specialist engineers to maintain ongoing servicing of all chillers and air conditioning units – approx. 100 – on site.

For ongoing maintenance, we will make sure we have as little impact on staff as possible, when we come to service the chiller, planning remedial work when the load on the chiller is less. IE; during colder months.

On every project we supply a user guide, our FORTH® O&M Manual, showing an overview of the unit model, how it works, specification sheet and ongoing maintenance requirements.

Every client gets a digital and hard copy and the option to go through the manual with their FORTH® Project Manager at any time.
